More Scout stuff added: January 2006

I just purchased a 1978 Scout II. There's not much left. Oddly enough, what is left is in pretty good shape.

I am toying around with doing a full resto on this Scout. As it has a good title (to come) and is basically down to a frame & running gear at the moment. Has a PERFECT hard top & liftgate, windshield frame and tail gate (all rust free & straight). Amazing.

1978 Scout II 'Tanbark' interior trim package back seat. Very good condition.
1978 Scout II doors w/fold away mirrors. Condition: too good for a trail rig, great for a driver, needs work for a show rig.

Also recently acquired (and for sale):
1980 Scout II lift gate, needs some minor rust repair.
1980 Scout II windshield frame, needs some rust repair on bottom lip. A good metal guy or body man could probably make this a nice piece again. Or use as-is on a trail rig. Rust is not structural.
1980 Scout II drivers side front fender: Needs some relatively minor rust through bubbles repaired. Not much to fix and you'd have a great left side front fender.

Scout II inner fenders: Needs some minor rust repair to be perfect. Rust has been treated with POR-15 and stopped. No structural rust. Good for driver; great for trail rig; OK for show rigs.
